Gorilla --from a hat (edited to add before picture)

I did a race where at the end they gave you a Warrior (viking) hat. Well my son has been in love with the book "Goodnight Gorilla" and so I decided to make the hat into a gorilla.

I wonder what the hat looked like now! Was it difficult to work with such long fake fur? I've only sewn fur a few times, and it really made my nose itch. So much so that I don't sew with it anymore!

Thanks for commenting. I added a before picture, I wasn't sure if people would be interested or not.
It wasn't too bad working with the hair, it was different (i've never done it before) I Had to make sure the hair wasn't in the seam and by the end my shirt was covered in all the hair pieces that got cut off!! But as far as sewing it wasn't awful.

My son isn't fond of him but hopefully he will as he grows up a bit!!
