I got a wonderful thank you package from PenguinSoup today!
Here is everything all together

This is directly from my Pinterest - the amazing DROPS headband! This will go so far to keep my ears warm this winter! (Hats never reach because my head is huge and I have 1" lobes)

Secondly, there were all these wonderful crochet patterns! The white was all copies of patterns she has, then a bunch of Crochet Today magazines (which I lent out most of my old copies and never got back), some Red Heart pattern books (one skein wonders & a dishcloth set!)
AND a sewing pattern for skirt, shirt & vest!

And, some stitch markers! (which may have been an error?) I have always wanted stitch markers, and never actually had a set of my own - I just use bits of scrap yarn if I have to mark anything.

And lastly, but DEFINITELY NOT LEAST! A GIANT PINK KNIT SQUID!!!!
You have no idea how freaking AWESOME this thing is! Seriously! It's knit (which I can't do to save my life), and it's PINK (my favorite colour) and it's a freaking SQUID!

DS came home and commandeered it He is a squid thief....I'm stealin it back & hidin it tho!

P.S. Did I mention that one of the patterns was for a crochet T-rex? DS is likely going to see a big stuffed Yoshi in the future

Don't worry, Jez, teddy bear robes are so sexy these days! At least, I hope they are. And was that a Giver or Needer package? It looks like both! Hurray Stitch markers! I just my own first set from my MYB but before that I was using bobby pins. I kind of miss them but these are nice.

I don't have any so i use small safety pins. It suits me and are easy to use
Wow at the squid! I honestly didn't know you could make amigurumis with knitting!!
Actually, before i knew how to crochet, (before i even knew it existed) I read a post about crocheted amis which were so cute! So i learned to crochet. No one taught me, i learned from the computer and craftster.
The same post mentioned amis were difficult to make with knitting, which might be one of the reason i haven't taught myself knitting till now
BUT GOD! That squid is cool!!!

that was from my needer. She asked if I would like some crochet patterns & magazines, which of course, I am totally OK with
I'm not huge on stuffies either. I ahve a couple of Wuzzles from the 80's, and a Rainbow Brite or two, but the few that I had left were passed down to my son. This one will NOT be his!
