Thank you so much TSM for such a great package!  I have already used some of the fabrics to make some things for another swap. They added just the spark to get me motivated.

I received a really nice thank you package from bookstorebabe! She must have been inspired by my wists  Wink!

Fisrt we have a "gypsy-ish" wind chime! (If you have a better pic Linda please share!) She baked and coated a branch for the hanging piece! It sounds really lovely too!

Second we have a really nice clock! I had some troubles getting a good pic of this as well because of the glare! But it is a really pretty night city-scape!

I love them both!! Thanks for being such a nice "needer"!!!!

I'm glad you like them! I was worried about the clock getting there with the glass still intact. My pictures are about the same as yours, so I won't post them.
I did bake the branch in the oven and then seal it. I do that with any sticks and such I craft with, ever since I read about one craftster who asked people to mail her acorns to make a wreath. She heard a chewing sound from the box....some kind of wriggly white worms inside the acorns. Eww!
Okay, I need to leave you guys with a more pleasant image after that. Here's a link to the gypsy windchime that inspired me. I wish I could make ones that look like these!

Thanks again for being my giver, mandykaye!

Lovely windchime, and nice clock. too!  I looked at the reference you gave to the gypsy windchimes, and those are great too!  and  eww!  I never thought about "things" being in sticks and acorns, etc. but you are absolutely right, it could happen and that would be a really disgusting surprise!!! Shocked Shocked

That wind chime is so nice!
worms in acorns?? It probably was there before the person sent. I can't picture worms finding their way into those overly-taped boxes Tongue
