So I always tell my kids to challenge me when they come up with Halloween costumes cause I got some skills Wink
And this year...they are REALLY challenging me!
A stuffed purple panda, A bobble head Einstein (a la Night at the Museum II), and the Grinch (Jim Carrey version)

So I've just completed the head of the panda!  I love when my crazy ideas work out!

And some in progress shots so you can see how I got there.

***update***
So I finally finished!  I'm not as happy with the body as I was with the head but she's happy so that's all that counts!

Here she is helping make the body...that is one messy craft room!  LOL

And here are all my girls in their Halloween costumes (I'm going to make a post for each costume if you want to find them and learn more)

Hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween!

It's plastic canvas...it's that stuff for doing chunky cross stitch with yarn.  I don't like it for that use but I love it for three dimensional costumes...I've used it for a bunch of costumes and it can be hot glued or sewn...I've even sewed it with my machine.  It keeps the head light and has a good mix of flexibility and structure.  PLUS...it's cheap Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Did you heat the plastic mesh to shape it or is there a wire support for the shape? Because if you can flex it like Veraform, but oh so much cheaper, I will be one happy panda! Cheesy
