"I wrote little haiku poems.  I emailed them to everyone."

Here is the gift I made for my best friend's birthday.  It is a haiku from the movie Fight Club:

"worker bees can leave
even drones can fly away
the queen is their slave"

It's a simple cross stitch (er, backstitch?) of the haiku mounted on cardboard and then placed in a shadow box frame (the picture doesn't do it justice, it really is deeper than it looks!) with a little bee sitting in the corner!  I'm pretty proud of it!  Cheesy

thanks for looking!

The placement of this is really unusual, I love it.
