What would you suggest - book, product, ect wise?

Over the summer I want to do something between volunteering & just sitting around on my bum all day. I found this interesting & something worth trying.

Check out BeadStyle Magazine!  There are tons of beginner projects, as well as advice on simple techniques such as closing off your jewelry, clasps, materials, etc.

When I started out, I worked with the following materials:  hemp, tigertail wire, toggle clasps, crimp tubes, a do-all jewelry making tool that I got from Wal-Mart (pliers, wire cutters, etc) and, of course, beads of all kinds.

Good luck!
