The colors were the first thing to catch my eye and then, of course, the dragon. I use PearlEx powders with polymer clay. It is just like magic applying these powders. Beautiful piece!

These were done with powders specifically put out by my local bead store, BeadFX, under their line called MetalFX - they have some gorgeous colours - seventeen so far, and the pots are tiny, but what amazes me constantly is how far just a little dab will take you when applying the colour, and how nice they are blended.

This looks spectacular!
I have been using Apoxie Scuplt for some My Little Pony mods and customs.  It is great stuff.  So you adding the mica powers after you worked it but before it cures?  How late can you wait? And are you using the colored epoxy or just the white?

For the projects here I used the black apoxie, and I have some of the natural in my stash now.  I used the powders before curing, when it is still tacky enough to have maximum adhesion, then rub it in gently, and then texture so that the colours are worked in nicely.
