I made these awhile ago to post up. I love making these, there are so many different things you can do with them. PLUS they're perfect for using up extra yarn! They come as sets.

I fell in love with the seed stitch after making these.

The next ones I made are inspired by sushi,

Let me know what you think!

I actually just make it up as I go really. I just make my chain big enough around for the cup (about 34/35) and join them. You need to be careful not to twist the chain though, you'll just end up with a mobius strip.

From there I usually just do one row of single crochet, then whatever stitch I feel like!

Above are just hdc, seed stitches, puff stitches, and dc. At the top I usually just do a single crochet row to finish it off

I just scrolled through the pics without reading the text and thought... wow, those last ones really remind me of sushi! Then I went back and read  Grin  Spot on and well done!

Oh I also forgot to mention a size H hook...you could use bigger or smaller but you'd have to change the chain length

as for twisting...I always work so the front of my work is on the inside of the sleeve...and then flip it.

I know these aren't the greatest of photos...and I'm not the greatest at explaining things, but basically you take the end of the chain and bring it around the hook to attach it. in the end you really want the front of the chain inside the little round you made.

This is how I do it, working the FRONT of my work INSIDE the round, then flipping right side out.

I hope I didn't just confuse people more  Undecided
