Thanks to miknessevie, who sent a Hula Girl Sock Monkey, along with a composition notebook she covered with fun monkey paper and a pair of monkey head earrings.  Heres the group shot:

The hula girl is wearing a polymer clay coconut bra and fringe grass skirt, and has a tiny button bellybutton:

And a closeup of the earrings, which look to be glass-type beads:

Thank you, miknessevie---

I FINALLY found my camera!!  Now on to pictures of what Waterbaby sent!  She sent me a shepherdess.  I think I'll call her Bo Peep. She even came with her own staff and little lamb.  I love how he's a fat well fed lamb.

A picture of the lamb its self.

Also waterbaby made me an adorable ribbon necklace with a picture of a child aviator under the glass.  The painting of the picture was done by one of my most favorite artists, Jessie Wilcox-Smith.  It came wrapped in some cute fabric too!

Thanks Waterbaby

My partner miknessevie has received her package from me but cant find her camera and has asked me to post pictures.

I made her a Sock Monkey Shepherdess:

Her bodice is both reversible and can be worn with the laces in the front or the back:

The crook is painted polymer clay on a narrow aluminum tube armature:

Her travelling companion was a crocheted sheep:

Group shot:

I also made a glass domed pendant using an illustration from 1930 by an artist miknessevie particularly likes, Jessie Willcox Smith, of a child in an aviator outfit, because she is also interested in early aviation:
