Oh my, that INSTANTLY makes me want to learn how to make fabric hexagons!  I could wrap up in that and just stare at it for hours, it's so very beautiful.

Eager to see how it turns out!

I love hexagon quilts - my mum made me one when I was little, and I loved the colours - just a swhame she used 'crimpaline' (?sp) - a type of nylon/man-made fabric, so it wasn't a good one to snuggle into Sad I remember all the cutting of the papers and fabric, and the HOURS of hand sewing, but great if you haven't got access to machine, and she used card (old birthday cards etc) now I would use much thinner paper - it'd be much easier!

those are so amazing!
i'm sure this is a technique I am too impatient and inexacting to do.
so I'll stand on sidelines in awe!

That's amazing!  I helped my kids make "crazy quilts" once- but they weren't this involved.  They were actually just patchwork quilts made with random fabric pieces all cut the same size.  This kaleidoscope looks awesome - and challenging!

That will be awesome when you're done.  A well crafted work of art.  I love the bunny one.

OMG I have been thinking about making a quilt for the longest time and this totally rocks! I'm so very OCD with my projects and this is right up my alley. lol. Great job!
