This is amazing. I have been wanting to do a hexagon quilt for ages now just never started. (I have the templates and scraps ready to go!) Doing it kaleidascope style is really nifty.

Wow, thanks for all the lovely feedback! It is so great to post something on Craftster, coz you know your fellow craftheads are going to appreciate how exciting it is to create something you love. I have really loved this project, I've been drooling over hexagon quilts for years but never thought I'd have the patience for one. I've been amazed at how much fun it is. the only downside, and its a big one, is that it really wastes a LOT of fabric. Especially if you don't plan well - which I never do  Undecided But if you're thinking of trying it, I'd say go for it - and post some piccies!
