I made this card for my lovely friend who has just left the shop to go to Uni.  We started at Disney at the same time and I was really sad when she said she was leaving, so a card had to be made.  I know she loves Beauty & the Beast so found a colouring page of Belle online.  Traced onto a pillow and stitched around the outline.  I personally much prefer Belle's initial blue dress in the film over her yellow ball gown so was an easy choice to make.  After the stitching I crayon tinted most of the design for more colour.  I didn't really feel like stitching all the many roses that were in the design, so instead bought some ribbon roses and just stitched them on, and that's what I came up with Smiley  Oh, and I stitched the finished design onto some felt so it was a bit sturdier and easy to stick to the card!  (Sorry pics quite small, can't make it bigger for some reason.  There is a bigger one on my blog Smiley )   Thanks for looking, V.

I like the stitches in her sleeves and the combination of stitching and crayon. Great Job!

Very pretty!  I like how the roses add another dimension to the finished product. Smiley
