I'm thinking that just stumbling upon this swap today is probably quite serendipitous. Especially since I was reading the posts and I think I identified with just about every comment.
After exercising obsessively for months over the summer to deal with overwhelming stress and such, I've been struggling to get there at all. I had a Reiki session and the biggest blockage seems to be my throat and consequently there is too much that I'm not saying. I had a great day where I spent 45 minutes in the car and yelled all the things I hadn't said. Not long after the cough came back and has stuck around with the mucous crap - and that slight energetic feeling of being strangled (not medical). And then there is the whole food thing, I've worked really hard to make progress - I'm 3rd generation with eating disorders - and I've been backsliding and slipping and it's pissing me off. There are lots of extenuating circumstances and I've been attempting to meet a partner at the gym twice a week for weight-lifting. Missed the last couple of weeks and feeling crappy about myself. And as a somewhat 'bottom moment' I got a raincoat I ordered for my 40th birthday trip in March - size 2x and too tight in the hips. I guess I'm venting and talking myself through and into the swap.
Gratitude to the universe for putting this swap in my path.

Thanks for sharing Selkie.  I had a great summer of eating well, exercising and losing weight (a lifelong struggle for me too).  I thought I had everything conquered but then suddenly every pound was back and I've been feeling angry about it.

I enrolled in a college recently for an Intuitive Practitioner program and found myself taking Reiki Level I for the second time.  It's brought back the concepts of purification and reminded me that just because I experienced a few good months, it didn't mean all the toxins had yet been released.  And on the mental level, I just wasn't strong enough to overcome the temptations.  

I've felt the emotions but got slapped with a "Let it go, and start over."  I'll never heal while in a state of anger or struggle.

Reiki works wonders for me.  Since I've been practicing almost every day again, I feel so much more centered.  And the rest is following.  It all starts within.

I look forward to receiving your questionnaire, and I'm off to fill out mine.  

There may be a three-way happening.  If anyone would not like to be a part of it, please message me as soon as possible.  I will try to have partner information sent by Monday afternoon.
