I'm a burlesque performer based out of Philadelphia, performing with Rigor Mortis Revue, our troupe had a photoshoot for Girls and Corpses magazine and they wanted to do an on location shoot with an apocalyptic theme. All the girls were made to figure out their own costume based out off of their character and personality, I immediately got to sketching out a design for it and this is what came from those sketches!

The "leather" is faux leather vinyl stuff, I know nothing about fabrics just how to make them into pretty stufff. I probably spent less than thirty dollars on the whole thing too!

Group shot

The skirt laces in the back and then the bustle is attached after. The top laces in the front and the back. This fabric was actually pretty easy to sew through. I got up to six layers through my machine before I had to hand sew!

I know the professional photography helps, but it looks magnificent.

Look twice, buy once. Nooooo
Look twice, decide I can make one instead.
