Matching partners up is being trickier than i thought. I'm not sure how much of an age gap would be acceptable. for the 7 & up kids would it be a problem matching them to someone 4-5 years older? does their crafting ability change much between those ages? I only have experience with 5 and under.

4-5 with 7-8 might be ok, but 9 and up is probably best matched up together.

I'd have to say it depends on the child, but I don't think i'd match a 4 year old with a 7 year old, it's quite a gap in dexterity and abillity.  I'd go with age groups of 4-6, 7-9, 10-13, and 14+  But that might be what you were planning, and it's not working out.

I'll keep the suggestions about age groups in mind. There's a lot of other factors too. the 5 and under's match up pretty well it's all the 7 & up that i'm trying to figure out. I'm getting there though. it's looking like I'll only get a tentative partner list up tonight and questionaires will get sent out tomorrow.

i think 7-10 is probably okay, but over that and the upper aged child might not be happy with the quality of work the younger child is able to produce.

I've done a bit of tweaking. I think that for all but one of the 2-3 children household I've been able to pair you up so that as few packages will have to be mailed as possible. There are a couple of partners where I have sent a message to the Craftster parent with a question. I will post the tentative line up for partners in the initial post. Please keep in m;ind that it is tentative. Once I have heard from the swappers that I had questions for I will finalize the partners and send out questionaires.

Thank you for waiting patiently for partners and questionaires.

Questionaires have now been sent to all but 3 swappers who will  be receiving theirs shortly. Partners are finalized. If anyone is missing a questionaire or has any queries please message me or leave a note and I'll sort it out as soon as I can.

Happy Swapping!

We got ours. Grin This will be a good test of following directions for the girls. My youngest was already talking about a pink scooby doo ornament and I had to remind her that her partner is a boy and likes blue not pink. lol We will be brainstorming this weekend and hopefully finalizing an idea by next week. Cheesy

Thanks for organizing this. The girls are very excited!!

Are we waiting until christmas before openning our packages?

It wasn't stated that we'd be waiting till christmas to open. Perhaps that could be a decision that you and your partner make? What does everyone else think?

For those that have said thanks. You're quite welcome!

We are fielding ideas now.  Seriously, my kid thinks he can do animatronics with glue and straws!  I love it all & am as excited as he is...just a tad more realistic on the ideas.
