Being a little too exited by all the wonderful sock creations on Craftster, I tried making ONE as well... This is what happened:

As usual, making just one was simply impossible Grin, because they are like Tribbles - they live off love and light and multiply relentlessly. Also, they are all pretty photogenic Wink Here are some head shots:

Mr. Mowhawk, playing in the flower pot. He enjoys punk music (obviously), but is pretty shy and likes to hide in corners....

Ms. Dumbledee, genetically undecided and rather lost in modern civilization, she loves housework -yes, even cleaning windows!- and has a dear, motherly soul.

The Dead Bunny- an independent creature refusing to give his name. Impatient to see the world outside, he has now moved in with a bachelor, ready to face adventure.

Last, but not least, Bob Blue - the first one to flap his wings arms and bravely face the outside world. He isn't afraid of any kind of weather and has a boyish tendency for mischief....

Do you like them?
Comments and critique highly appreciated Grin

They are so much fun, I love the stegosaurus-ish one.

Look twice, buy once. Nooooo
Look twice, decide I can make one instead.

Turned out great especially for your first try!  I love how you made each one so different.  My favorite is Bob Blue.  I like how you made the stripes vertical for his ears.

Thank you, Antidigger and cheekandstitch!
Socks are so much fun to play with... I am a bit ashamed to admit, that since making the first one I've been building up quite a stash of socks.. just in case I feel like making one more.. or a few more Wink

Thank you, babyface843! That they are, even the ones that didn't quite turn out the way I wanted them to, tend to get snatched away really quickly. And it's so much fun watching grown, serious men get out their inner child because of them... Wink

I love Ms Dumbledee with all the things on her back!

Addictive, aren't they?  Sort of like potato chips.  You just can't stop at one!  Adorable critters by the way!

Thank you, SimonPurple! Who'd have known one could use toe-socks in such a fashion?

gotgrey- you are soooo right about them being addictive! Grin I seriosly had to make myself craft something else for a change, otherwise I'd soon be overrun by them Wink
