So my cousin that I made the diaper bag for also envied the paintings I made for her newborn niece's bedroom. Now she gets her own set. Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures of the original set I made for the girl, but here is the new boy set, all on 12"x12" canvas:

The elephant was my least favorite... Sad I don't know why I don't like how he came out. Unfortunately, I rushed to package them up and mail them before I could decide to start him from scratch, so that is how they get him.

They are adorable!  I really like the elephant!!!  I think he is super cute, but I am a bit partial to elephants in general.  Cheesy

I love them! I like the giraffe hiding behind the stripes the best -- what a clever idea!

Oh thats so cute! And I liked your idea of keeping the background same of hues and colors. I feel elephant could be made much more attractive with some more bulkiness or some funny expression.

The backgrounds were actually based on the baby's bed set. I had to keep remixing the colors to get them right. I've already sent them, but the parents actually liked the elephant best. I don't know if you can tell, but he is actually cross-eyed. I think my major issues with him were that one of his legs stuck out too far, his shading is all off (I tried redoing that a few times), and his trunk has uneven thickness. I am sure Baby won't mind though Smiley

Thanks for the suggestions!

Those are so cute.  I love how the animals interact with their backgrounds.
