Philadelphia Area Thrift Stores

does anyone know the address of the Salv Arm in Roxborough? I keep trying to find what bus to take to get there, but there are a few addresses when I google.

I love the Salv Arm on Market... It's near 30th street station. It's really sleezerific (surrounded by adult you know stores). I always end up leaving there with trash bags of stuff. It's across from the Trader joe's. Retrospect and Philly AIDS were mentioned and they are excellent.

Alas, the Village Thrift on Broad is gone but if you're lucky enough to have a car (which I am not) there is another Village Thrift across the ben franklin bridge on like, route 30 in Jersey. It's amazing, almost the size of a walmart. Every year for my birthday my boyfriend takes me there because I LOVE IT!!!!

Somewhere in the Lindenwold area of NJ there is an amazing goodwill, but since I live in Philadelphia and don't drive it's been about two years since I've been there.

Also, on germantown ave near my house, there is a Bargain Thrift, which is pretty decent.

It's at 4555 pechin street.  You can catch a bus up Ridge Avenue and walk down the hill from there.  Get off at the Dunkin' Donuts/post office area, and you'll be fine.

In Honeybrook, maybe 10 minutes or so from Shdy Maple is a thrift shop. Its in an old Rite Aid.
Last time I was there was about two years ago when they were in a different building but it they had a ton of neat stuff; also the Re-Use-It is not too far from that area, and last time I was there they had a TON of fabric, zippers, other crafting stuff..an entire room of stuffed animals & VVHS tapes.

St. James in Downingtown on Lancaster Ave. has a thrift shop underneath; its not very big but I can always find something there..and they have $2 bag sales every week(fill up a paper bag with whatever you want for $2!)
