Just as I am

I bought polymer clay a few years ago but never got around to doing anything with it. I got it out the other day and it had dried out. I worked water into it. It made the clay a little sticky. But I tried to make a face on a terracotta pot. This was what I ended up with. I have a long way to go but it is a start.

Ooh, I wonder how the polymer clay/terracotta joint will work long term? Do let us know what happens to your fascinating pot.

It didn't stick at all. I glued it on after it was baked.

It reminds me of my attempt to make a "cute" elf head doll, only to be told that it's creeping everyone out and looked vaguely like Freddy Krueger. It's creepy, but it's cute creepy. It would look cool with plant hair, be sure to post pics after you put some in it!

I had planned to put a plant in it like I did on this tower. But, my 21 year old nephew came by & loved it. So it is gone.
