That is just AMAZING!!

I love the weave! It's beautiful, and the colours are really fabulous together, despite the bright!

I would love to be able to take classes in college for fibre arts, that would have been my THING, but we don't have stuff like that out here! Too bad, I would pay for a degree in that! LOL

Soooooooooo PRETTY!!!!! Grin I would love a skirt made out of that (probably not the right kind of material for that but I love the pattern/colors!) If you don't mind my asking, where do you go to school?

There is no wrong kind of material, as long as you've got a good lining.  In fact, my mom scoffed when I made a heavy wool skirt over the summer.  Now that it's colder and I can still wear my skirt she's less skeptical.  (Though she still doesn't like it since she's allergic to wool.)  Moral of the story is, as long as you're careful and make it with the right time of year in mind, there is nothing wrong with skirts made of unusual fabrics.  (Though like I said, you'll probably want a liner for some fabrics, especially if they are delicate or prone to fraying.)
