Hiya everyone!  I'm Jill, I'm 28 and I live in Washington State.  I'm good with nudity and profanity, but please nothing political or religious.  My favorite things to do are reading (mainly fantasy/sci-fi), cooking/baking, playing video games with my husband, and crafting (duh!).

MY THEMES:
-Harry Potter ABC's (Available Letters: L, O, R, T, V, W, X, Y) (I'd prefer the cards to all be vertical with the letter selected being rather larger on the card)
-Halloween
-Trees
-Wine
-Mythical creatures
-Vikings
-Wings
-Fireworks (my hubby is studying to get his pyrotechnics license)
-Your Location
-Mustaches/beards
-Anything from my book list on pinterest

i claim jillybeans for a "trees" card due oct 21.

status: 2 claimed/ 1 sent/ 0 rec'd

my name is kate, and i like to create, hence k8kre8s. i live in vancouver, canada.

themes:

birds (esp. crows, pigeons, seagulls, budgies, falcons)
trees
leaves
beach/ocean
plants
bikes
seasons
owls
canning jars
cameras
squirrels
nests

i have a *slight* preference for vertical cards, but don't let that limit you. my general interests are gardening, biking around town, photography, crafting, canning, sustainability, camping, being out in nature, and all other manner of "hippie-ish" activities. looking forward to adding to my ATC collection!

I'm 29 and live in Melbourne, Australia. My favourite colour is green and I love old stuff, especially old books and ephemera - but the best thing about ATCs is seeing what others come up with, so anything goes really.  Smiley

My themes:
-monochrome in any colour
-old type/fonts
-trees, plants
-steampunk
-cats
-old buildings
-the ocean/sea creatures
-hand-drawn
-knitting
-portraits
-Frida Kahlo and mexican folk art
-obscure fairy tales/myths (the more obscure the better)

I'm Dawn and i live in Fargo, ND. I've been  making art for a long time. I'm addicted to creation.
Thanks for all our past swaps and swaps to come. I'm really enjoying them.

For information on my October themes, please visit my new "Pinterest":
http://re.pn/b/ZnOV

MY OCTOBER THEMES:

HAMSA HAND (preferably some with an eyeball but without is ok too)
DIA DE LAS MUERTAS SKULLS OR SUGAR SKULLS (hand drawn or painted please)
MY LITTLE PONY FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC (ponies and meme's from the new series for teenager.)
VINTAGE EROTICA (100+ year old naughty pictures, famous madams, legendary redlight-houses,
vinage lingerie or nudies. Prefer black and whites or sepia if printed. can be a 'facts' atc.)
FLUER DE LIS (a single fluer de lis in woodtone, stone, natural metallic or black. its for a set
for a friend who bought a new home with wood floors.)
STEPHEN (id like to build a collection of atcs with the word 'Stephen' done in different styles.)
STEPHEN KING (stephen king books, characters, quotes, esp 'The Dark Tower')

*ABC THEMES*

ABCs of dr who (images from the Dr. Who series drawn, cut out, digital, quotes, whatever you want.
Needs to include a letter and a label for the subject - T - Tardis, D - Dalek.)
     (Done - A,D,T,C)
ABCs of Hinduism (hindu images, symbols, sayings, cultural images. like large letter and the word
(K - Krishna, A - Aum or something like that. just so u know what the letter is and what the subject is.)
digital images are fine. (DONE - L).

*CALENDAR THEMES*

October - Halloween advent caldendar (22 Piers's birthday, 23 Raven's birthday, 31 Halloween)
I'd like it to have the number and some kind of halloween inspired design on each card.
can be digital, drawn, painted, sewn, whatever as long as number is clear. On the days listed
above there should be some reference to the persons birthday as well and maybe a halloween
birthday cake. so don't take those days unless you wanna make a crazy halloween cake.
Halloween should say halloween and doesn't need the number. Would like a full set and
repeats are fine so it can be fresh every year. we can switch it up. i'll just put velcro on the
back of each one. also if u want to glue scarey stuff like fuzzy spiders (not live or once live)
     on a card that's cool. - (DONE 4, 6, 24).

I'm from NSW, Australia. I'm not easily offended by much, except animal cruelty and that sort of thing. I have a wist and pinterest kept up to date and partners are more than welcome to check those out. Do not have a problem with tasteful nudity or swearing.

Themes are:
sarcastic & funny quotes - favourites include:
"Lester Burnham: Mine. 1970 Pontiac Firebird. The car I've always wanted and now I have it. I rule!"
"Lester Burnham: Lose it? I didn't lose it. It's not like, "Whoops! Where'd my job go?" I QUIT."

geek themed things

books/reading

the 1950s

penguins

Movies

Old Hollywood glamour - think Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn

Crafting

Celtic crosses

Irish

Pirates and the band Alestorm

Famous artists eg Monet, Da Vinci, Botticelli, Van Gough

Mini "works of art" - can be any topic, as long as it fits into the ATC size

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - favourite quotes include:
"Where God went wrong
"Some more of God's greatest mistakes"
"Who is this God person anyway?"
"Well that about wraps it up for God"
"Time is an illusion, lunch time doubley soon"
"Curiously the only thing that went through the mind of the bowl of petunias, as it fell, was, 'Oh no, not again. Many people have speculated that if we knew exactly *why* the bowl of petunias had thought that we would know a lot more about the nature of the universe than we do now."
"Marvin: Here I am, brain the size of a planet, and they ask me to take you to the bridge. Call that job satisfaction, 'cause I don't."
"So long and thanks for all the fish"
and favourite characters include:
Ford Prefect, the whale & pot of petunias, and Marvin
