Am I the only one that sat for a moment and worked my way thru the maze?  Smiley Great project.

I'd love to try this pattern in the tapestry crochet style.

I think it would be perfect for that because the colors seem basically alternated every stitch or few stitches.

All you would do is carry the other color through the stitch/es until you us it again.

I'll bet using a lighter, (thinner),  thread like Omega's Sinfonia yarn or Paton's Grace yarn would work nice. It wouldn't be large or anything. More like a purse size.

Hmmm, you have my wheels churning.  Grin

You did a great job on yours! I love the black alternating with the multicolored yarn. Great choice of colors!

as a crafter I love it!!!!! as a professional maze designer I can't help noticing that the one solution is way too easy. if started from the top there is one route that can take you away from the path enough to be misleading but there is no secondary path to bring you to the solution so you immediately go to the next choice with immediately solves.

looks cool as beans though!

I do agree that the solution is too easy... and I plan on revisiting that because I'm thinking of crocheting another larger one in order to use it as the front panel of a messenger bag.

I think I would not be able to do something like that thought, I would get so lost in that maze!  Grin
