i made these for a friend's charity ho-down...each is filled with a cup and a half of rice and beans, so in case of emergency you can open up the sewn flap and stave off hunger for a day or so.  Wink

each owl is made with several strands held together and is about a foot or so in diameter.  the stuffing and beans-and-rice are enclosed in a fabric lining, so the inner pillow can also be removed if the outside needs to be washed.  hopefully they'll make a couple buck for breast cancer research!  just thought i'd share--i miss them already.  Smiley

Did you purposely choose to make hooters for Breast Cancer research?

They are really sweet!

ha!  on the hooters!  Smiley
thanks for the compliments.  i sort of miss them taking up space in the apartment, though i'm sure that 2 cubic feet is probably already full of some other something.  apparently they went for some good, lively bidding, so hopefully they did some good for cancer research!
