I made these pillows as house warming presents for a couple of friends who just moved in together.


"R" for "Rachel."


"S" for "Shawna."

Just took a few backstitched borders and put them together with a nice little art deco monogram.  Used various shades of one color, which I think worked out well.

Finally, one of the girls inspired this other pillow.

It started as a regular ol' courtship silhouette, but I added the words and colored it.  All black just looked bad.

All pillows are on 14 count aida, stuffed with a few handfuls of poly-fill, and backed with a bit of fabric from fat quarters.
