Making my art a priority in 2014!

I have admired people like my fave poppet maker lanikins and their poppet creations and I finally made one myself~!  Well, I made this for a swap but the more and more I created, the more my family and husband were clamoring that they would be upset if I let her leave the family confines and that I should make another one for the swap... so without further ado, my eldest DD christened her "Wisteria":

Thanks for looking!!

Excellent job for your first poppet. I'm not surprised the family didn't want to let her go.

She is amazing. and I agree you should always keep your first one. There is something about the eyes that just draws you in. She is so cute. Love her.

Thank you! And I just found the post by craftewoman who put all these wonderful patterns up for poppet clothes, so I am excited to try some out for the next poppet.  But beyond that, I am really excited about doll making in general!
