I was browsing the Featured Projects a while ago and saw this post of JAM4ever's beaded tie-dye cuff, and I decided I had to learn Peyote beading.  I found a tutorial online, made some graph paper in Excel, and came up with a pattern I liked.  This is the result:

It's a little bit wonky because my beads weren't all the same size (the dark blue in particular were pretty inconsistent), but overall I'm pleased with how it turned out.  It closes with a beaded button dealie and loop.

Action shot!

All I've tried yet with peyote stitch is plain coloured bracelets, so kudos for trying something complicated like this.  It's very pretty, and I love the pattern you made.

Thank you!  It was kind of confusing trying to keep my colors straight when I started the spiral.  I had to number each bead on my pattern, and cross them off after every row so I didn't mess up.
