I think I will wait until novermber for sign ups because:
1) that way, a 6-8 week or so cycle will see us through Christmas and NewYear.
2) I don't have any swap spots free at the moment!

I'd be interested in this!
I'm fairly new, but November would get me out of my probationary period here on Craftster, and inchies were one of the first things I started oogling! I'd be a first-time swapper -- would that be okay? I'm not sure I completely grasp the idea of the "ongoing" swap, but I'm sure if I dig around another second or two I'll figure it out...

mjnovak, look at the ongoing ATC threads-- it's the same concept. If I recall correctly, newbies can play, but only get one claim.

I believe that is correct (I need to brush up on the how many claims thing before I start the swap myself!), but I should probably clarify that newbies get one claim AT A TIME. So you claim, craft, send, then once your partner recieves you can claim again.

Oooooh, I've been so bad at keeping up with new swap threads.... I just found this, and I can't believe its been so long since I checked!  I'm so participating, I'll be a co-org at any point, if need be.  If this is ongoing, there may be some months (December, for instance) that I wont be here EVERY day, but I'm pretty sure I can keep up even with every other day check ins.  Whatever is needed, because I was so wishing for this to start, but couldn't quite summon up the tenacity to start it myself.  (Go nilmerg!)

8 sounds like a magic number to me.  6 sounds somewhat too little, and 10 or 12 makes me think I would claim only once or twice.  A number of 8 to one person leaves lots of room to be somewhat detailed (which I really like) without running out of ideas if the themes are really cut and dry.  I'm so excited!

I really hope this goes off well.  (!)

Nilmerg you are very brave. Ongoing swaps seem chaotic enough to join in let alone keep track of everyone as an organiser. You go Craftster Goddess!

I've sat out a round or two of inchies now and think I'm ready for some more. Especially by November/december.
