My housemate and I have been on a crafting binge and I wanted to share our most recent project!

We gutted out two old speakers that the previous tenant left.

Next we planted an herb and tomato garden into the openings.  So far the plants are growing nicely and our dinners have gotten more delicious Smiley

I once used a wine box to collage with old comics and filled it with presents for my boyfriend at the time:

Just adorable! Recycling other peoples toss-outs is SO satisfying. I am currently trying to find a way to bring my outdoor herbs inside before the frost comes. I wonder if the hubby would mind me repurposing his old stereo bits?

haha I bet they would work indoors too.  They don't seem to leak.  Show me some photos if he gives in!
