I had seen these on pinterest and other places and thought I need to make one of those.  I am in the process of buying a new house and the bathroom I have dreams of creating in an aurora borealis theme since I live in Alaska and LOVE the Northern Lights.  So, I started playing with the fabric markers and this is what I came up with:

I think I would add some length of fabric to any more that I make and make the picture smaller, maybe do some embroidery.

I made it into a patch but it was so big that it was almost as wide as the main fabric.  Next time I will make it smaller.
