Hello! I love the game Portal, and I've never tried filet crochet before. I decided to combine the 2 and this is what I got!

I used regular 4 weight yarn, in black, my 6 mm hook and all the black yarn already in my stash! That's why part of it is thicker than the other side because of the different brand yarn (Vanna's Choice and Red Heart) I used. I ran out about 2/3 into the process and had to buy more. It took me about three days and is about 22" x 24". I used my cross stitch computer program to upload a photo of the companion cube and went from there.



 It surprised me by how easily you can make mistakes!  Tongue Here it is! C&C welcome!

I hope to hang it in a window somewhere, I'm thinking I might try a real filet crochet curtain of it. And the project is around 22" x 24"
