These are the gifts I've been making for my friend's kids birthday presents this year. I found some great boyish fabric at the charity shop so hopefully these will be appreciated by 9 year old boys!

Thanks guys!   Most of the time there's nothing special at the charity shops here - but as long as you keep looking - every now and again there's a real gem!
