So my DH and I are thinking about getting a small place of our own (we currently live with his family) and coincidentally, so is his sister, my sil (and very very best friend) I'm hoping to do some crafting for our little new home and I would love to make some stuff for her as well. Problem is, what can I make??   Shocked Huh

Ideas welcome !! Please help !! (I have time. We're thinking more like next year when I finish this semester and have a winter break)

I'm big on redoing goodwill finds.  They are cheap, and usually full of awesome!
I am also addicted to spray paint.  If I plan on painting it, I cross my fingers that the color comes in
a spray can!!  Curtains, wall art, rugs, and accents can be super fun.  My house is very colorful, none
of my furniture matches.  Aside from my couch and over size chair we got from a co-worker who was
getting new stuff.  If you have any idea of what direction you want to go in with the over all look you
want, I'm sure there are plenty of ideas floating around here.  Good Luck, and have fun!!

I am interested in personal swaps!

You could make some storage containers that you can use now as well as in your new place.  Maybe something to keep your crafting supplies in?  Smiley
