idk if its just me, but they look to be more matte then shiny. if youre not completely satisfied with it you could maybe try Krylon crystal clear spray? it adds a nice shiny accent to stuff. I'd assume it wouldnt crack or peel, but i'd also test it first

Lemur, you're right in that the boots aren't shiny, they are pretty matte. I'm not a big fan of the super shiny stuff. The only thing with the krylon spray (which I have used before) is that it might take away a little bit of the boot's capability to stretch, which is essential for me getting them on and off. If I have some lying around I might do a light layer to give them a tiny bit of sheen.
