This top was my sisters and she didn't want it because the sleeves are for someone with skinny arms, other than that it fit fine.


But instead of keeping it, I thought I'd surprise her by altering it so she could wear it again.


I used a stitch remover, which took forever since this material rips very easily.



Then I had our old curtains from our kitchen, that looked like I could use them again for something... well I now I can

 
As I was sewing the lace to the arms, I noticed they looked a little tube like. So I sewed the lace at angels as it go closer to the arm pit area.


I think it turned out alright, I surprised my sister and gave it back to her with the new sleeves. She loved the top, she just couldn't fit the arms anymore. Now she can.  Cheesy
