My husband gave me a Xoom this year as an early birthday gift.  At that time I was 8 and a half months pregnant (the baby's birthday is two days before mine!).  In a fit of crazy nesting instinct, I made this tablet cover and stand in less than two hours.  It was super easy to make and to this day I still use it!

This project was very easy and could probably be used for an iPad as well! If there's any interest, I can probably put up a tutorial, just let me know. Smiley

I don't need a full tutorial - but please explain...
the bottom edge of the tablet back is sewn down, yes? and then the other side is kept up with velcro?
Is there a stiffener in the part that props up the tablet?

Really clever and i LOVE the fabrics you used -- especially the red (or might be pink, can't tell)
I want to make my mom a cover for her iPad for xmas this year -- i thought about just a pocket slip type of cover -- but she i soooo picky about things, that I think something like this would be awesome Cheesy

That's clever! And it only took you two hours!  I'm quite impressed.  Hopefully, I'll have a tablet one day soon, and I can make one of my own!
