I'm glad you liked it, Emily!  I had a lot of fun figuring out what to make, and actually making it was a fun challenge!

Wow! Such fun little things! The crocheted skull is amazing! Love the clay sugar skull is fantastic! And I adore that specimen (great story and gorgeous colors!)

rosyposie has been very busy, so I am going to post a picture of what I sent her. I sent stitchmarkers - but as I told her, I haven't used stitch markers before, so I wasn't sure if they were supposed to be open or closed. I figured that if they were open and they didn't work for stitchmarkers, could she could also use them as mismatched Halloween earrings! (rosyposie - feel free to post pictures if you have better angles!)

tabzilla, That's a super tiny sugar skull!  Did you use a three-dimensional paint on it?  Great job at painting such tiny little details.

cassiem, How did you come up with the idea for your OTT?  I really like the story included with it and the ingenious latin name for it, heheh.

DawnsTrees,  That's funny that we both made stitch markers!  Did you glaze some of yours?  I had proper polymer clay glaze but it dried out and no amount of hot water could revive it.  I had to make do with a thin coat of varnish (and a lot of time curing in front of the fan).

I received from haroldlovesmaude a couple days ago but I haven't photographed my OTT yet.  It's pretty great--it's a toad!  Made out of buttons!  You'll just have to wait til I post the photos.

Thanks for the lovely comment, irid3sc3nt!  All the detail is done with little thin snakes of polymer clay, then I painted it all up.  Looking back, puff paint would have been easier! XD

Biting's excellent. It's like kissing, but there's a winner!

Thank you so much DawnsTrees for posting pictures.  I feel like lately I am a chicken running around with their head cut off.  I really like the stitch markers and I like that they can be closed or open up that way I can use then on the needles or within the already finished fabric to mark progress points etc.  They are absolutely spooktacular.

irid3sc3nt, I actually reverse-engineered it!  I looked at the post that Papersnipper said she really dug, and thought about what I could do.  The idea of making a little tree or something inside a glass container sort of got stuck in there, so I went to the store and picked up some beading wire and the rest of the stuff.  The hook I used was a little big for what I wanted it to look like, and the wire wasn't quite as stiff as I'd like, but once I made it, I thought "Well, it's not a tree, but it's certainly neat" and tried to imagine what it did look like.

Since I still wasn't sure after, like, 4 days, it occurred to me that maybe that was the way to go.  After all, a lot of things in the world aren't just one thing.  In my mind, it turned into sort of an animal-plant, almost like a Venus flytrap, that sort of took over brains!  It took a lot of wire, and a lot of foam tape to elevate it to where you can see the sculpture over the rim of the lid.
