I go 24 hours without getting a chance to sign on and when I do... Holy cow! What great Tiny Things! So much inspiration for next year's decorating! If only I didn't have to start working on December holiday presents now... Oh, well- it's bookmarked for next year!

I received today from rosyposie and I LOVE it! She sent me a fantastic paper candle-holder (with its own battery operated candle Smiley )

Here is the great card (on the left) and the candle holder (on the right):

Other side:

These two show all four sides when glowing from the candle:

Isn't it fantastic? Thank you rosyposie!!

plucky1_08 - Those clips are a great idea.  I think my favorite one is the skeleton hand.  It reminds me of the The Monkey's Paw by W.W. Jacobs.

rosyposie - How did you get the lantern to stay in a cube shape?  Is it all just really sturdy paper?

crazyda79 - Peace, Love and Candy Corn makes me giggle!

Here is what hazelly sent to me:

It's a teensy-weensy doily!  Look at all of those tiny stitches she had to make!  She went to thirteen stores to try to find orange thread, but none of them had it.  I think it is beautiful.  I think that this year I will have it sitting out, but next year I'll craft a nice frame for it so I can have it hanging up.

Thank you, hazelly!

It is made out of some pretty sturdy card stock from the scrapbook section of the craft store.  I actually sent the lantern flat so that it wouldn't get all mangled traveling and included a glue stick for reassembly.  and it is constructed with little tabs on the inside to hold it all together...that is why each of the sides has a /25" border.

This was my first paper cutting craft so I'm really glad you like it DawnsTrees.  I have finally taken pictures but just need to get them uploaded.

rosyposy, I would never have guessed that was your first papercraft project. It looks so smooth and totally awesome! The detailing is super!
