I have experience stenciling, but I always have trouble when it comes to stenciling on black fabric.
I'm making a skeleton Halloween costume and need to stencil the white skeleton on black t-shirt fabric.
Every time I stencil on black fabric I have to put layers and layers for it to show!
I use acrylic paint and Delta fabric medium.
Is there anything I can add to it to make the paint thicker? Or any suggestions? When I add too many layers the image gets really hard and almost plastic like!

You need to use a white paint that says that it is "opaque", most are semi-transparent and take alot of paint to cover the black.
