Ooo pretty pendant!  I am just floored by the cleverness of a crochet hat! The critters gotta stay warm too, right?

Thanks, silentb!

Leslie - that necklace is perfect for you!  It's beautiful - I hit THIS ROCKS,  Shocked because it does.  Good job, waterbaby.

Thank you, fiddlegirl, and also for my first THIS ROCKS (at least that I know of)!

that is one beautiful malingerer!
is it etched/stamped and then dusted/inked with...something?

Thanks, susan!  The heart was shaped, impressed using a rubber stamp, and baked.  After it cooled, I brushed on a few layers of gold paint and a little mica powder, gently rubbing off what wasnt in the impressions between applications.  When I was satisfied with the detail coloring, I used a dry sanding sponge to remove paint left on the surface, buffed it a bit with a cloth, then sealed the front with a couple of coats of Future floor finish, very lightly sanding so it would have a sheen rather than a shine.

these little critters are so awesome! I am always amazed with how far everyone takes them in such wildly different directions.
I think I'm going to make these for my couch instead of regular pillows :-)

I've been stalking this thread and just love all the critters! I decided to make a smaller version of the pattern and this is what my mystery critter looks like. She is hand-sewn

I recieved two lovely monsters/backpacks from pjr107.  The funniest part is we both made each other Kermit!

She also sent Fozzie Bear.

Thanks so much!
