Yippee!!  The kiddos look cute as can be - your son really DOES like Thomas - wow, I'm glad I made something he could recognize - I like the picture of him kissing the train juice box the best!  And yes, Thomas does match your daughter's princess dress today!  Thanks for swapping, silentblair - anytime, partner!   Cheesy  PS, the Ladybug Princess is from the Ninni pattern - not the mystery critter pattern - that's why she is smaller and more dainty!   Smiley

Wow, fiddlegirl8, what an AMAZING package you sent! I can't believe you were able to turn that mystery critter into Thomas the Tank Engine-- I had to see it to believe it!

Thanks, Leslie - I had some help from susanab - when I was at first perplexed how to do this, she found some images for me to look at online.  Then the tank engine took on a life of his own!  I had fun with your pattern on this swap - thanks to both you and Susan for organizing another great one!!   Cheesy

GREAT critters have entered the gallery since I last walked through!
Colonel Dapper DEFINITELY has some Magnum going on! If a critter could be HUNKY, he IS!
Beautiful Frog Princess, she's really a cutie--lovely fabrics.
Thomas came out awesome, agree with Leslie--that you turned that out amazingly.
And very nice that you also crafted up that pretty pretty princess.

I came home bleary eyed so I waited until this morning to open up this Christmas amount of packages from abbeyrd83:

abbeyrd83 REALLY INSANELY spoiled me to the ends of the universe with items from my wist.
I love the shape of NJ and I LOVE these earrings! I love the color, look at those matching beads and on a jewelry card... You are SO PRO!

Look at this critter pouch! In a bazillion years I could not line up fabric like that...no...never!
This is sooo cute:

He felt a little quite a bit lumpy, so I needed to find out what that was about:

Wow--that's a lot of DumDums for a lil' monster. Here, let me help you with those Wink

GET READY TO GASPPPPP:

Look, I don't even know what words to use about this critter, abbeyrd83.
Except for--it's even better than these pix. Yes.
The creativity and craftswomanship here is knockout.
And I love love love it!

But the gasping does NOT end there. I have had this accessory on my wist forever, and on my mind before I ever had a wist. It was like I was at the end of the alley and the bowling ball just knocked me down at my feet, lady. I hope you can even understand that.

The pencil scarf!! The pencil scarf!!
And in BLUE!
For me?? Yes, thought that's my daughter, Aurora, modeling. Let me point out that at this time, she is already wearing a yarn bracelet on her left hand that abbeyrd83 made for me, and off it went to high school. Goodbye, bracelet. It was too brief--I hardly knew you.

And another picture:

When I wrestle the bracelet from A, I will also take a picture of the NJ pendant that I received--so you can look for the updates here.

Thank you enormously. To say, "You shouldn't have" is an understatement.
To say I am so thrilled and so blessed by this package also is.
xo

Those are some awesome critters.  I love the coal stack in the back of Thomas.  And the little princess is super cute.
I am in love with the pencil scarf!  It looks super cozy and the beaver is wonderful.  I really like the detail on his tail.

Looks like abbeyrd will win the prize for spoiling her partner--wow!  Is the pencil scarf made of fleece?

Love the beaver! From his uneven teeth to his beautiful tail, he is an awesome critter!
