My 13 y.o son somehow got stuck in home ec this semester, and they are learning how to hands sew little felt dolls, but he aint sewing no sissy girl dolls, heres what he made...I'm so proud ( wipes a tear) he used a buttonhole stitch to assemble him, and he drew the pattern freehand..I think he kinda looks like cartman.. my son walks around now saying he has a sumo in his pants (shakes head).

I would also buy in a second! I am always looking for interesting non-girly toys for my lil nephew. My brother hates that his favorite toy is one of his big sisters babies. LOL   So my brother dressed the doll in a cut off t shirt & "jeans" that he cut dow into daisy dukes ... NOW he says, "that's my son" ... Brothers JEEZ!

But plese tell your son to keep at the crafting, he might be able to make a lil extra cash  =)

Well my boy prefers graffiti and anime type art, as far as him sewing, its a requirement in my family I'm a 3rd generation seamstress, so its genetic I guess, he can even make basic things on the machine ( although he'd die if his homies found out hehe). He loves anything japanese, anime, or manga related and he recommends this site for anime type doll making, he made the inu yasha one then duct taped  it to his model rocket and needless to say inu didnt survive...
