My boyfriend did not let me throw out his favourite red t-shirt, in spite of the holes, stains, etc.. So I decided to to reconstruct it and make it live longer for him. Smiley

before: I used a simple black t-shirt and the precious red.


I cut out the patterns of the red and sewed it to the front of the black, leaving a little window in front of them.



It turned out that the black t-shirt is a little short, so I added the bottom of the red to it. The result:

Fab! I was thinking of doing this with my son's old star wars t-shirt that he has grown out of, now I have seen the result of your work, I definitely will, and I'll use a black t-shirt too. Thanks!

I LOVE the finished product! My boyfriend wouldn't wear that style in a million years, but I would!!!
