I guess I'll start us off this week. I've been working on some singles that I will be using as weft on my rigid heddle loom. The bright one is the batts my four year old and I made together a couple of weeks ago.  Smiley

And this one is also going to be weft for a scarf. Planning out my Christmas gift weaving projects. There is a bunch of angelina in this one, but my camera does not like to show the sparkle.

I joined a challenge on Facebook for making an anti-yarn handspun. Not sure what I'll do yet, but it can't be fabric or any regular spinning fiber, and wool can be only used as needed to "glue" the yarn together, and preferably no wool or traditional fibers at all. I might show up here with a wacky yarn next week, if I get my idea by then... Smiley

I'm thinking a leather yarn. We are supposed to use no more than five dollars worth of stuff from the thrift shop for our yarn, or use stuff that is in our home. I have to get my head around how to make a leather yarn that is also an art yarn. I might end up going off on a totally different tangent. I haven't had time to run to the thrift shop yet this week.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Beautiful yarns!  Good luck with the challenge!  Also, can you share this page that issues the challenges?

I have one  yarn that I finally pulled off the bobbin today.  I just haven't clicked it!

Alright here it is.  The twist isn't set, but it's insanely even, none the less.

~414 yards, lace/fingering weight.  50% merino, 50% misc wool (likely romney?)

Yummy yarns  this week!  Love the yarn from the batt you and your kiddo made, LaughingLark.  That challenge sounds really fun!  I hope you'll post whatever it is you come up with next Fiber Friday.

Bella -- your yarn is crazy even and looks so soft.  Lovely!  What will you do with it?

I didn't do anything crafty this week.  Hopefully I'll get back to it next week.

Thanks! As for what I'll do with it... look at it. LOL  I have no immediate plans for it, and not enough patience to knit anything that thin!

Wow! That is so bright!
Bella, that is so even! I almost want to eat it, like sherbet.
You guys are awesome.
I'll share some this coming week.
