hey crafties!

I made this skirt tonight with my sister in less than an hour thanks to april_cocaine's lovely circle skirt tutorial. Only... I decided not to make it into a circle. There are two layers, because otherwise it would be really see-through. It's made from a sheet I found at Salvation Army for only $1 and an old shirt for the waist band. V. Cheap.

(the weird hanging things are just the ties on my shrug. Wink )

I LIKE it! So, did you cut the sheet in squares? And the waistband - what kind of fastener did you use? Or is it stretchy shirt fabric? It's a great design!

WandaM. -

I just followed april_cocaine's tutorial - http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=12439.0    On step 7 or the picture 6-7 It shows to cut out a circle, I didn't do that. I just left it as is. The waist band is just from an old t-shirt. (it's stretchy)

poprock6903 -

I used a full bed sheet. I think you'd have plenty left over for a top if you have a really big sheet. I used almost the whole thing because i put in two layers.

Thanks for all the comments... I love craftster comments... don't they just make you really happy? hehe
