My husband has created a table top RPG world that we play games in every Friday night. So for his birthday I wanted to give him a poppet based on a race from that world.

The race I chose was the Leshy. They are based on the slavic mythological creature only in my husbands world they can be female as well as male.  Here is a wikipedia description of the leshy "He has hair and a beard made from living grass and vines, and is sometimes depicted with a tail, hooves, and horns. He has pale white skin that contrasts with his bright green eyes."

And here is my leshy. Her name is Mira.

A close up of her dress. It's hard to tell, but the bottom is a tulle ruffle that matches the corset in color.

She is so pretty! I adore the eyelashes and the (okay I just stuck my fingers out in front of me trying to figure out the english term LOL) antlers? horns? LOL.

Beautiful poppet!  I love the antlers on her  Grin  What kind of yard did you use for her hair to give it that mossy look?  I have some elemental amigurumi dolls that I'm making and I love the hair on your poppet it would suite one of my dolls perfectly!

Her hair is to different yarns. The lighter green is Red Heart Shimmer in Lime. The mossy looking yarn is Yarn Bee Riot Eyelash in sealeaves. You can get it at Hobby Lobby either in the store or online.
