this is a flyer i designed for an upcoming event in Ellenville, NY (thrown by my boyfriend and his uncle).  the event is called "The Second Annual Freedom on the Fourth Music and Art Festival".  I wanted to get across some sense of freedom but still make it look cool.  It's kind of like a mini Woodstock (what Woodstock was SUPPOSED to be, before corporate America ruined it).  I'm posting here so people can see my design, but also to promote it in case anyone lives around there and wants to go:

Great flyer--I wish I had seen this in time!  I'm in Rockland, but spend a lot of the summer in Sullivan.  Maybe next year...

How was it?

thanks!  it was a blast...i was camped out  by day 3 though.  it's nice up there because so many people are camping and everything that it doesn't look as crowded as it really is.  i think there were about 500 people throughout the weekend, and most of them enjoyed the creek, going up on the mountain, and tons of good music.  i managed to sell some artwork and earrings too, which was nice.
