So one of my friends is having a baby. The first of my friends to have a baby Shocked I was looking around the internet for a baby gift.  He's a big StarCraft fan and so am I. I came across this zergling onesy: http://www.jinx.com/p/starcraft_zergling_baby_creeper.html?catid=&cs=1&csd=&preview=1&s=starcraft.
Awesome, but it got me thinking I should make something sc2 related. I then started looking for Starcraft 2 crafting projects, which I didn't find much of, so I just looked up geeky crafts. That got me to http//geekcrafts.com/ which introduced me to crafster.org since a lot of projects were linked from here  Grin I didn't find anything Starcraft related by I did find out about Tapestry Crochet. So I designed my own based on the Zerg Symbol. Unfortunately at the time I didn't know about things like Knit Pro (http://www.microrevolt.org/knitPro/) so I just printed some graph paper and hand drew the Zerg symbol and used that as my guide.

Now I'm finally done. The color in this pictures are off. It's actually bright purple, not blue. The edge is just three rows of sc increasing each row.

Close up of the zerg symbol. All done in sc. The purple squares are sc on the outer squares but I got bored of that so the inner purple squares are sc, dc alternating (I thought it kind of looks like creep Roll Eyes ).

Thanks for looking!
