So I've been on South Beach for a couple of months and managed to loose about 35 pounds but hit that dreaded plateau, got disgusted and proceeded to munch anything and everything in sight for a couple of weeks.  Now I'm ready to hit it again but I'm not sure I can stomach two more weeks of meat and eggs. Sad  I need yummy recipes to break up the monotony of the meat, cheese and eggs.  Oh, both my student loans and my DH's student loans have recently gone into repayment and we are completely broke.  Let's just say a steady diet of steak for the next two weeks is not in our future.  Anyone out there able to help?

check out HCG round 3 recipes online, they are carb and sugar free and I think should fit in with your plan.

I am doing that currently, pretty heavy on the ground almonds, which can be $$ but I make a good bread substitute, pm me if you want the recipe.

other things are make in advance mini quiches, if you put things like veggies, roasted are better, cooked onions mushrooms etc in a greased muffin tin, then mix cheese with eggs, season and fill up the cups, bake until set, these can be stored in the fridge, good for a fast brekkie

Please send me any recipes you have!  I will look up the HCG diet recipes as well.  South Beach can get so expensive!
