A trivet!  I would never have guessed...what a fab way to upcycle   The crocheted hat is lovely

Thanks! The hat really was nothing. It was done completely on public transit and actually got me a few offers for commission (pfft, as if anyone has time to make stuff to sell these days). It has a hip little slouch to the back of it that's kind of fun.

Again, I'm just glad it got there safe and Jess liked it!

The colors in the hat are just so fresh!  It is beautiful done as well!  How nice to include some flower pins to mix it up!

I also love recycled projects so the flower trivet is very clever!

The doodle drawings by both mother and daughter are cute...such a talented family, courtneykilledit!
