Whew..... I am so glad you like it OGD!  I was worried and feeling terribly inadequate after getting your lovely set.  I put the bonus that didn't go traveling with me in the mail for you today.  It is taking the slow boat but should get there later in the week.

I love the gnome and the scrappy rug is awesome too!  What a fantastic group of mugruggers!

Oh no, the back is not meant to be shown to the world at large; it is totally not reversible!

I tried to make the gnome drink out of a blue delft mug (my impression of one, anyway) as you said you were using that theme in your kitchen. Also note the semi-invisible quilted mushroom and a half in the background.

I wasn't thinking straight... I deleted the back... and thank you, I did notice the quilted mushroomy goodness!

i received from leslieshappyheart yesterday!  and this will not be used as a mug rug.  it is far too nice to slop coffee on.  Cheesy but it will gain a place of honour on my awesome crafty/hoopla/mini quilt/handmade art  wall once the new house is done.

and the back, all nicely labelled (i am a terrible labeller)

Seeking scraps! I'm in need of a variety of white on white scraps. (2.5inch square minimum) for pixel quilts. Have any? Swap for? PM me! Smiley

I adore the semi-invisible mushroom on the gnome rug.  The birds on the bunting are super sweet.  Are the birds also fabric?  Or stenciled on?  They look too perfect to be fabric.  Smiley  And the apple/pear is so adorable!  I wouldn't be able to spill coffee on it either.  It has a great vintage look to it that I love!

Hey all,  the birds on the wire are a machine embroidery pattern from....

... you guessed it, Urban Threads.  The fabric is all sunpainted.
